I have a really tough time deciding which crisp is my favorite, but if I HAD to choose, I’d probably say this one. Ask me next week though, and I’ll say La Madre. This one is great, I primarily use it with eggs, breakfast burritos, avocado toast…. My favorite thing to do is to smash some avocado on a tortilla, sprinkle it with everything bagel seasoning, then fry some crumbled feta in a pan and once it’s a little brown, cracking egg over it. Put it all together with some of this crisp and you’ll be in heaven.
I have added this layered flavor bomb in dollops, smears, stir fries, for soups, sandwiches and even salad dressings. I'll be trying all of them. Yummmeee
Everything was perfect! The flavor is top tier!
I bought this chili crisp at a farmers market because I love typical Asian chili crisp and trying Mexican chili crisp sounded intriguing. Let me tell you, I’ve started putting this on as many things as I can. Eggs, noodles, toast, hummus. After I finish my food, sometimes I’ll get some tortilla chips out just to have a little more chili crisp. This stuff is so good! The little pieces of plum are easily my favorite part from a texture standpoint, but the depth of flavor in the spices is really something. I recently recommended this to a friend who was wary of spiciness level and I would say it’s about a 2/10 as far as spiciness, which isn’t a bad thing to be clear. I would describe its purpose more as flavor enhancing as opposed to simply adding spice. I’ll absolutely be getting their other flavors and restocking once I run out! Full 10 out of 10 and then some!
